Back on the tools again. This time I’m making a 4 metre long screenprinted artwork for a customer in the Blue Mountains. I’m using about 5 or 6 design motifs in combination – this old hard working silkscreen is creating part of the background layer – and there are about 8 or so layers to go on top. Reckon I’ll be done by Sunday night.

Im getting on with it in the studio this week and it feels good. Today I’ve been reworking four lovely old worn out woollen blankets, turning them into new bed throws and cushions. This is yours @andrewvalder Hooray! At last! #scrapclothfabric

So yesterday I made a lampshade from my Scrapcloth scraps, an old lampshade frame, some found fencing wire for extra structure and recycled wool for the sewing. It took about 75cmx75cm of fabric pieces. I’ve bundled the remainder of those pieces up and have 6 Scrapcloth bundles available. $65 each. Email me if you’d like one.
